Alvarez & Marsal continued the growth of its valuation services practice with the additions of managing director David Juneau in Houston and senior director Caroline Walters in Dallas. Together, Juneau and Walters will bring more than 20 years of experience on valuation matters within the energy industry.

Juneau’s and Walters’ move to Alvarez & Marsal aligns with the firm’s expanding U.S. energy practice and its strategic commitment to help clients navigate complex sector issues, including the transition to renewable energy. Recently, the firm has welcomed a series of energy sector-focused professionals, including managing director Julie McLaughlin in San Francisco, managing director Francois Bardi in Houston, managing director John Corrigan in Dallas and senior director Trish Collins in Houston.

Juneau joined Alvarez & Marsal from Kroll, where he served as a managing director on the energy and infrastructure industry team within the firm’s valuation advisory practice. He brings more than 12 years of experience advising global clients on a range of valuation and corporate finance issues, including business and asset-level valuations, financial and tax reporting compliance and transaction and restructuring planning. Juneau has worked across multiple industries, with a focus in the energy, chemicals and industrial sectors. He also has experience advising consumer products, engineering services, hospitality and food distribution companies.

Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Walters served as a valuation advisory practice director as part of the energy and infrastructure industry team at Kroll.  She brings 10 years of finance and valuation experience focused on the valuation of income-producing power generation assets for power and renewable energy clients. Walters has in-depth knowledge on the valuation of individual power general assets across a range of technologies, including solar, wind, hydro, landfill gas, nuclear, natural gas and coal and battery storage.

“David and Caroline bring unique perspectives and deep expertise in the energy industry and the sector’s market dynamics. Their experience enhances our ability to advise clients and solve complex problems against the backdrop of economic volatility and disruption,” Mark McMahon, managing director and global practice leader of A&M’s valuation services in New York, said. “Their individual backgrounds align with A&M’s operational heritage and results-driven mindset. Their collective know-how will help clients maximize value and drive change.”
