George Bilicic rejoined Lazard as a vice chairman of investment banking and as global head of power, energy and infrastructure, effective immediately. Bilicic rejoined Lazard from Sempra Energy, where he most recently served as president and chief legal officer.

Prior to joining Sempra in the fall of 2019, Bilicic served as a vice chairman of investment banking and as global head of power, energy and infrastructure at Lazard, and headed the firm’s Midwest investment banking business. He originally joined Lazard as a managing director in 2002. Previously, Bilicic was a managing director at Merrill Lynch and a partner at the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore, which he joined as an associate in 1989.
