Alvarez & Marsal Taxand appointed Lewis J. Greenwald managing director of its international tax practice.

Greenwald, who will serve from A&M’s Miami and New York offices, has more than 30 years of experience in international tax matters. Greenwald will help A&M Taxand clients, including multinationals, with U.S. international tax planning, U.S. international tax compliance and controversy, and transfer pricing matters. ​His experience spans across many industry sectors, with a focus on technology clients.

Prior to joining A&M, Greenwald was a partner at DLA Piper in New York, Mayer Brown, Sullivan & Worcester and PricewaterhouseCoopers.​ He is licensed to practice law in New York and Massachusetts.​ He is the former regional vice president of the New England region of The International Fiscal Association and a member of the board of the National Foreign Trade Council.
