Citizens Bank announced the hiring of Battle Moore, managing director, and Joe Miller, director, as bankers in its Technology, Media and Communications (TMC) vertical practice. The addition of Moore and Miller adds significant depth to Citizens’ focus on the Communication Services and Media sectors and accelerates its national TMC vertical market strategy.

Moore has 15 years of corporate and investment banking experience focused on the Communication Services sector. He spent the past nine years as a senior origination banker with Wells Fargo Securities and its predecessor, Wachovia Securities, as a member of its Technology, Media & Telecom group in Charlotte, NC. Moore began his finance career with J.P. Morgan’s Global Telecom, Media and Technology Group.

Miller has 11 years of corporate and investment banking experience covering the Media sector and executing leveraged finance transaction for middle-market companies. He spent the past seven years as an origination banker in SunTrust’s Technology, Media and Telecom Group in Charlotte, NC covering both traditional media and emerging new media sector companies.
Previously, Miller was a vice president at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Charlotte, NC, as a member of its Leveraged Finance Group.
