James Murray joined Bryant Park Capital, a middle-market investment bank, as managing director. Murray is based in New York and will focus on originating and executing capital raising and advisory transactions for Bryan Park Capital’s client base.

Murray brings 38 years of experience with him to Bryant Park Capital. He was most recently chief financial officer and executive vice president, corporate development at Cartiga, a provider of legal pre-settlement funding to consumers and working capital funding to law firms. Prior to Cartiga, Murray was an investment banker covering financial services companies at several firms, including Houlihan Lokey, where he founded the firm’s financial institutions group and most recently at Piper Jaffray.
