Bobby Bans will lead middle-market asset-based lending originations for Wells Fargo Commercial Banking for the west region, which is part of the bank’s secured lending and leasing businesses. Wells Fargo’s middle-market ABL originations team is aligned with divisions across the bank to support the demand of asset-based lending, specialty lending and equipment finance solutions to the middle-market segment.

“Bobby’s extensive knowledge of the industry and experience structuring, executing and developing advanced strategies is what made him the top choice for this role,” Cyndi Giles, head of middle market ABL originations at Wells Fargo, said. “We look forward to leveraging his rich background and deep experience as we work with our middle market customers and help them grow.”

Previously, Bans was senior vice president and head of western region originations for Bank of America Business Capital. Based in Los Angeles, Bans has nearly 30 years of financial services experience, including overseeing a business development team that originates, structures and executes on financings for both public and private U.S. companies.
