Moritt Hock & Hamroff (MHH) hired Grace Y. Lee as an associate in the firm’s secured lending practice group and Michael J. Borger and Johanna C. David as associates in the firm’s trusts and estates practice group.

Lee, who will be based in MHH’s New York City office, concentrates her practice in all aspects of complex commercial lending and real estate matters. The scope of her practice is diversified and includes the handling of commercial real estate transactions, the representation of commercial and private lenders on mortgage loans for purchases, refinancing and loan modifications, assignments of mortgage, construction financing loans, hypothecation loans, secured and unsecured business loans and the purchase and sale of non-performing commercial loans.

Borger, who will be based in MHH’s Garden City, NY, office along with David, concentrates his practice on complex trusts and estates litigation, including pre-trial motion practice, discovery proceedings, depositions and settlement negotiations. His practice also includes all areas of trusts and estates administration, estate planning and guardianship. Borger serves as a court-appointed guardian ad litem for minors and intellectually disabled individuals in contested probate and guardianship proceedings.

David concentrates her practice on complex trusts and estates related matters. Her practice is diversified and includes advising clients on asset protection and intricate planning strategies, including tax matters and capital gains issues. She also advises clients on options for Medicaid planning, including nursing home Medicaid, home care Medicaid and pooled income trusts.
