CohnReznick added Jeff Anapolsky, Amy Stonecipher and Jean Almonte from Crossroads Strategic Advisors to its restructuring and dispute resolution practice.

Anapolsky joined as a managing director and leader of CohnReznick’s restructuring and dispute resolution practice, overseeing a team of professionals in the Southwest. With more than 20 years of experience involving out-of-court workouts and Chapter 11 reorganizations, Anapolsky also has previously served as chief restructuring officer, interim CEO and expert witness.

Stonecipher’s experience includes consulting for multinational energy companies, working to optimize trading processes, performing gap analyses and developing scenario simulations. Almonte provides client services such as advanced financial modeling, complex valuation and capital markets analysis.

“Houston continues to be the venue of choice for bankruptcy filings in 2020 and it appears this trend will continue,” Anapolsky said. “By joining CohnReznick, we gain access to the firm’s broad suite of service offerings for the energy sector, as well as healthcare, hospitality and commercial real estate businesses and investors in Texas.”

“With the addition of Jeff and his team, we continue to deepen our bench nationwide, most recently in South Florida and now Houston. As our team expands across the nation, we are honored to extend the success we have had helping companies improve performance, restructure, recover and transact during such a difficult time,” Cynthia Romano, global director of CohnReznick’s restructuring and dispute resolution practice, said.

Romano and colleagues in the practice recently won the 2020 Turnaround Management Association’s Turnaround and Transaction of the Year award for midsize companies.
