Irene Eddy
CFO
Accord Financial

What intrigued Irene Eddy about joining Accord Financial was the company’s commitment to growth and client service. With the company focused on continually improving its products and processes, Eddy felt at home with the organization’s high expectations and lofty goals, joining the firm in 2019.

From her start as senior vice president of capital markets, she has sourced, closed and managed numerous financing relationships and diversified Accord’s capital funding partners. Now, four years later, as Accord’s CFO, she leads Accord’s entire finance organization, providing strategic and operational leadership and supporting business unit leaders in all areas of finance, capital, reporting and strategy.

“Joining Accord meant embracing change,” Eddy says. “In today’s economy, managing the ups and downs successfully as an organization is as important to us as it is to our clients. Adapting over time is our hallmark of success.”

Before her time with Accord Financial, Eddy spent more than 20 years at GE Capital building innovative structured financing platforms. She played a crucial role in logging more than $23 billion in asset securitization and alternative funding solutions. In addition, she aided in improving the efficiency of information delivery to investors and business partners by leading content development and user interface design for GE Capital Markets’ first website.

Accord’s culture includes a strong focus on collaboration, which is one of Eddy’s signature strengths. Combining this with her diverse knowledge base and experience, Eddy’s unique skills and talents have served Accord well.

“My time at Accord has been incredibly rewarding thanks to the team I work alongside,” Eddy says. “When I think of the future of the company, its clients and its employees, I can’t help but be filled with optimism and pride.”
