Norton Rose Fulbright expanded its corporate mergers and acquisitions and securities team with the addition of two partners: S. Ward Atterbury in New York and Mark S. Greenfield in Los Angeles.

Atterbury joined from Katten Muchin Rosenman, where he served as co-head of its mergers and acquisitions group. His practice focuses on M&A transactions and related financings, and he has experience representing sellers and buyers in domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and restructurings.

Greenfield, who practiced at Blank Rome, concentrates on corporate transactions and corporate advice and counselling. He represents private equity sponsors, corporate acquirers and sell-side entrepreneurs in sophisticated mergers, acquisitions and divestiture activity, as well as debt and equity capital raises. Greenfield regularly represents public companies, independent directors and audit committees and also serves as outside general counsel to multiple clients.

“Ward and Mark are tremendous additions to our corporate, M&A and securities team, bolstering our corporate presence from coast to coast. Their comprehensive knowledge of transaction structures across several key industries will benefit US and global clients,” said Daryl Lansdale, Norton Rose’s U.S. managing partner.
