Harris Williams Advises DuBois in Sale to Aurora Capital


Middle-market investment bank Harris Williams announced the sale of DuBois Chemicals to private investment firm Aurora Capital Group.

Harris Williams said it acted as the exclusive financial advisor to DuBois. The transaction closed on December 20, 2012, and was led by Patrick McNulty, Ned Valentine, Darwin Olympia, Brad Morrison and Andrew Bagby from the firm’s Richmond office.

DuBois, was a portfolio company of private equity firm The Riverside Company, and is a provider of customized chemical solutions for mission-critical business applications.

During Riverside’s four-year hold period, DuBois saw its total sales and EBITDA increase by 105% and 221%, respectively.
