AlixPartners completed its acquisition of the business and assets of Galt & Company, which specializes in helping management teams achieve and sustain growth in shareholder value. The acquisition closed on Dec. 31, 2021, with all Galt & Company team members joining AlixPartners.

Ankur Desai joined AlixPartners as a managing director in the firm’s retail digital practice based in New York. Desai has nearly two decades of experience implementing digital business transformation programs across medium and large retailers and brands.
Irfan Bidiwala, a seasoned expert in the energy and a wide range of industrial sectors has joined AlixPartners, a global consulting firm, as a managing director. He will be based in AlixPartners’ Houston office.
Eric Nelsen, an expert in the oil and gas industry and in industrial revenue and growth areas in several industries, joined AlixPartners as a managing director. He will be based in AlixPartners’ Houston office.
AlixPartners hired Dr. Karsten Lafrenz as a managing director on the turnaround and restructuring team, serving clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Lafrenz has more than 20 years of experience, most recently serving at McKinsey & Co as a partner.
AlixPartners promoted 12 individuals to the role of managing director, including seven members of the firm’s turnaround and restructuring services division.
Lisa Donahue, joint global head of turnaround and restructuring services at AlixPartners, received the Harvey R. Miller Outstanding Achievement Award for her service to the restructuring industry. Donahue is the first woman to receive the award in its 20-year history.
Elizabeth Stephenson joined consulting firm AlixPartners as a managing director based in Los Angeles. Stephenson most recently served at The Wonderful Company for five years, where she was president of two portfolio companies.
