JPMorgan Chase Upsizes and Extends Restaurant Brands International’s Credit Agreement

Restaurant Brands International amended its existing credit agreement to, among other things, increase its term loan A facility to $1.25 billion. According to an 8K filed with the SEC, JPMorgan Chase Bank is the administrative agent for the credit agreement.

Restaurants Brands International, the parent company of Burger King and Tim Hortons, will acquire Popeyes Louisiana Kitchens for $79 per share in cash, or $1.8 billion. JPMorgan and Wells Fargo have committed to provide financing for the purchase.
