Mary Mack will retire this summer as CEO of consumer and small business banking (CSBB) at Wells Fargo. Saul Van Beurden, the current head of technology for the company, will succeed Mack, effective May 15.

Financial services executive Steve Troutner joined Wells Fargo as Western region bank executive. Troutner will be based in Los Angeles and report to Head of Consumer Banking Mary Mack.
Lisa Stevens, Regional Banking executive for the Western Region, has decided to leave Wells Fargo after a 29-year career. Stevens will depart in late October.
Wells Fargo agreed to sell 52 retail bank branches in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin to Flagstar Bank. The sale is part of Wells Fargo’s plan to reduce its retail locations to approximately 5,000 branches by the end of 2020.
