Main Street Capital closed a new portfolio investment totaling $7 million of invested capital in Garreco. The investment consists of $5.8 million term debt and a $1.2 million direct equity investment.
Main Street announced the expansion of total commitments under its credit facility from $352.5 million to $372.5 million. The company noted that the increase was the result of the addition of one new lender relationship.
Main Street Capital amended its five-year credit facility to expand the total commitments from $287.5 million to $352.5 million. BB&T served as administrative agent.
Main Street Capital announced full year 2012 total investment income and distributable net investment income of $90.5 million and $61.9 million, respectively was up 37% and 50% compared to 2011.
