JPMorgan, Others Support 21st Fox in Bidding War for Sky

Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan committed to providing bridge financing to support 21st Century Fox’s £15.325 billion ($20.18 billion) bid to purchase UK-based media company, Sky. Law firm Simpson Thacher is representing 21st Century in its bidding war with Comcast.

MUFG, Nedbank Lead Aspen $4B Multi-Currency Facility

Aspen Holdings closed multi-currency syndicated facilities equivalent to approximately €3.4 billion ($4 billion). MUFG and Nedbank served as global coordinators, initial mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners.

ING Agents $725MM Gunvor Facility

Gunvor closed a $725 million borrowing base facility, which will provide working capital for refining activities in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp region. ING was coordinator and the facility and security agent.

Vitol SA Increases Syndicated Revolver to $7B

Vitol SA announced that BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank AG, ING Bank N.V., J.P. Morgan Limited, Lloyds and others acted as mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners for the company’s facility increase.
