North Carolina-based community bank First Bank named Adam Currie president and expanded CFO Elizabeth Bostian’s role to include responsibility for human resources as a managed line of business.
Adam Currie will become chief banking officer of First Bank, Elizabeth B. Bostian will become general counsel and CFO of First Bancorp and Blaise Buczkowski will continue in the role of chief administrative officer and become First Bancorp’s chief accounting officer.
First Bank appointed Jamie Moses to the role of CFO. Moses previously served in leadership roles at several regional banks, including Berkshire Bank, Webster Bank and M&T Bank.
Shelley Seifert, former COO of First Bank, has taken over the position of chairman and CEO.
First Bancorp, the parent company of First Bank, received approval from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond to acquire Carolina Bank Holdings.
