First Bancorp to Acquire Sunshine Financial

First Bancshares, signed a merger agreement with Tallahassee, FL-based Sunshine Financial under which First Bancshares has agreed to acquire 100% of the common stock of Sunshine in a combined stock and cash transaction.

First Tennessee Provides $20MM Revolver for First Bancshares

In conjunction with the repurchase of its CDCI preferred stock, First Bancshares closed a $20 million revolving credit facility with First Tennessee Bank.
