Renewable energy giant Boralex refinanced almost all of its wind farm operations in France, for a total of $1.7 billion, divided among three credit agreements maturing respectively in 2034, 2036 and 2040.
Boralex extended the maturity of its C$460 million ($357 million) revolving credit facility to April 27, 2022. National Bank of Canada acted as lead arranger and administrative agent on the amendment.
Boralex and Gaz Métro/Valener closed a C$617.5 million ($484.4 million) refinancing to support the Seigneurie de Beaupré Wind Farms with a group of lenders including Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Sumitomo Mitsui, Mizuho Corporate Bank and Crédit Industriel et Commercial.
Boralex closed the refinancing of its credit facility in the amount of C$360 million ($287.37 million) encompassing a C$300 revolver ($239.47 million) and a C$60 million ($47.89 million) letter of credit facility.
Boralex completed refinancing of its corporate revolving credit facility for an amount of C$130 million. National Bank of Canada acted as lead arranger.
