Barings BDC Makes Senior Management Changes

The board of directors of Barings BDC has named Eric Lloyd as executive chairman of the board and promoted three of its longstanding senior executive officers. Lloyd has served as chairman since 2021 and CEO and director since 2018.

Barings BDC and MVC Capital Enter Merger Agreement

Barings BDC and MVC Capital entered into a definitive merger agreement. The combined company, which will remain externally managed by Barings, is expected to have more than $1.2 billion of investments on a pro forma basis.
