Amalgamated Financial No Longer Pursuing Amalgamated Bank of Chicago Acquisition

Amalgamated Financial, the holding company for Amalgamated Bank, withdrew its application for regulatory approval to acquire Amalgamated Bank of Chicago due to an inability to obtain such approval. As a result, Amalgamated Financial is no longer proceeding with the transaction.

Amalgamated Financial Appoints Brown President and CEO

Amalgamated Financial named Priscilla Sims Brown its next president and CEO. Brown will join Amalgamated Financial on June 1 from Commonwealth Bank in Australia, where she served as group executive of marketing and corporate affairs.

Darby to Replace LaBenne as CFO of Amalgamated Financial

Jason Darby will take over as interim CFO for Amalgamated Financial upon the departure of current CFO Drew LaBenne, who informed the company he plans to step away to pursuit another opportunity at the end of April.
