Wells Fargo Capital Finance (WFCF) is one of the top lead arrangers of asset-based loans in the U.S. with a large and diversified portfolio of close to 2,500 customers and $37 billion in loans outstanding. Capital Finance offers traditional asset-based financing, specialized senior secured financing, accounts receivable financing, purchase order financing, and supply chain financing to a wide range of companies throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

The Position:

The ABL Underwriter will be responsible for all aspects of the prospect transaction process including underwriting, closing, and funding of factoring and ABL deals. Primary prospect transaction responsibilities include: coordinating and analyzing audits, appraisals and background investigation reports; analyzing historical financial statements, cash flow statements, and borrowing base projections; recommending and structuring financial covenants; performing collateral analysis and industry analysis; preparing and presenting credit approval memorandums to credit committee; and overseeing the preparation, negotiation, and execution of legal documents. Throughout the process, the Underwriter will interface with Originations, Portfolio, Operations, Field Exam, Compliance, Customer Credit, 3rd Party Appraisal Firms, 3rd Party Law Firms, 3rd Party Accounting Firms, and other WF LOB’s (e.g., Middle Market Banking).
