The Wall Street Journal reported that General Electric’s chief financial officer Keith Sherin is expected to succeed Michael Neal as chief executive of GE Capital as early as this summer, citing “people familiar with the company’s thinking.”

The Journal said GE Capital’s finance chief Jeff Bornstein will likely assume that role at the parent company, citing the sources.
