Matthew Wilde joined AlixPartners as a managing director. Wilde will serve clients across the Middle East region and be based in AlixPartners’ Dubai office.

Wilde has a track record in turnaround and restructuring. He was a partner with PwC for nearly 20 years before becoming an independent chief restructuring officer. He led PwC’s restructuring businesses in the Netherlands, Australia and, most recently, he spent six years leading PwC’s restructuring practice in the Middle East. He has been involved in many restructuring situations in the region, including NMC, Al Jaber Group, OW Bunker, DryDocks World and Dubai World. Wilde is a chartered accountant (ICAEW) and a qualified insolvency practitioner (JIEB).
