The government contracting finance arm of White Oak Commercial Finance provided a $3 million asset-based lending facility to a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) that distributes and installs specialty building products in the Northeast U.S.

The facility was secured by the firm’s accounts receivable and inventory, and the funding will be used for working capital and growth.

“White Oak proudly supports the growth and longevity of women-owned businesses with creative and timely funding solutions, and we are thrilled that we could serve such an esteemed WBE certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council,” Kysha Pierre-Louis, head of government contract financing for White Oak, said.

A Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) is an independent business concern that is at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more women who are U.S. citizens or legal resident aliens; whose business formation and principal place of business are in the U.S. or its territories; and whose management and daily operation is controlled by a woman with industry expertise.
