Wells Fargo Corporate Banking has launched an Industrials Group to offer capital solutions, financing expertise and traditional banking products to customers in this sector. Lisa McGeough will lead the group, reporting to Kyle Hranicky, head of Corporate Banking.

“This industry-aligned approach allows us to better serve our customers and their financial needs while acting as a trusted advisor,” said Hranicky. “With Lisa now leading this Industrials focused team, we can not only deepen our relationship with customers but ensure a seamless and integrated approach to how we work with them across our platform.”

Prior to this role, McGeough served as head of Wells Fargo Securities for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and chief executive officer for Wells Fargo Securities International, the UK-incorporated brokerage company indirectly owned by Wells Fargo. She was responsible for overseeing investment banking and capital markets activities, including advisory services and sales and trading, for the EMEA region.

McGeough has appointed several key leaders to her group to ensure the needs of customers across all the industrials sub-sectors are being met. These individuals will lead efforts to bring the breadth of the Wells Fargo platform, from capital markets solutions to traditional banking products:

Will Alston, based in Charlotte, leads the Defense, Aerospace and Technology Services (DATS) division. Prior to joining the Industrials Group, Alston spent 10 years on the Leveraged Finance team at Wells Fargo Securities, where his primary responsibilities included originating, underwriting and executing leveraged loans and high yield bonds for prospective and active transactions involving corporate issuers and financial sponsors.

Chris Borin, based in Charlotte, leads the Diversified Industries division, which encompasses large corporate clients in the capital goods, electronics and diversified services sectors. Prior to joining the team, he was a managing director and senior relationship manager in Wells Fargo’s U.S. Corporate Banking division. In that role, he was responsible for managing a multi-industry portfolio of large cap corporate clients. Before joining Wells Fargo in 2008, Borin worked for Wachovia Securities for 12 years. He also worked for Credit Suisse and its predecessor bank in New York and Atlanta in various client management roles.

Steve Buehler, based in Chicago, leads the Basic Industries division, serving large corporate customers in building products, chemicals, metals and mining, forest products and packaging. Prior to joining the team, he was a senior relationship manager and managing director for the U.S. Corporate Banking division responsible for a portfolio of large corporate clients in the Midwest. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Buehler worked for six years as a relationship manager in corporate banking at ABN AMRO Bank.

Siamak Saidi, based in Chicago, leads the Transportation division, serving customers across the sector including rail, road, air, shipping, infrastructure and leasing. He joins from the U.S. Corporate Banking division of Wells Fargo Corporate Banking with over 16 years of experience, overseeing a portfolio of complex financings for large corporate customers. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Saidi led the growth of LaSalle Bank’s Large Corporate Banking practice.
