Global professional services firm, Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), appointed Hay Wun Wain a senior director within the firm’s corporate performance improvement (CPI) practice to focus on enterprise-wide transformation solutions for financial services and consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies. Wain’s joining demonstrates A&M’s commitment to helping clients drive change and maximize value.

With more than 20 years of transformation experience, Wain helps clients develop and execute value creation plans and roadmaps to deliver meaningful results with speed. As part of CPI’s corporate transformation services group, she will support A&M clients in quickly diagnosing opportunities for improvement, across the end-to-end value chain with seamless customer experience at the center for maximum ROI.

“Companies face pressure to grow at the pace of this very dynamic market, efficiently, while also contending with customers that expect increasingly digital experiences. We anticipate growing demand for enterprise-wide transformations from large corporations,” Will Lovis, managing director and leader of CPI’s U.S. corporate transformation services group, said. “Hay Wun’s ability to accelerate change, along with her industry senior leader roles, will improve our ability to accelerate outcomes for clients seeking step change enterprise improvements.”

Prior to joining A&M, Wain led enterprise-wide transformations for global companies such as General Mills, Avon Products and S&P Global. In these roles she was responsible for setting the strategic direction, architecting business transformation strategies and plans and driving operational efficiencies to deliver several hundred million U.S. dollars in value to the bottom line.

Wain most recently served as the interim chief transformation officer for CROSSMARK, a mid-sized sales and marketing services business in the CPG and retail space. While there, she developed the transformation roadmap aligned with the company’s strategic plan. Additionally, she drove the implementation of a portfolio of initiatives to deliver sustainable EBITDA improvement and support a profitable exit to strategic buyers.
