TMA Global has elected Jeffrey C. Hampton, Esq., partner at the law firm Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr as 2019 TMA Global President. Hampton’s term begins January 1. Kevin A. Krakora will transition to chair, and Milly Chow to immediate-past chair.

“My involvement in TMA has been one of the most influential aspects of my professional career, and I look forward to carrying on the tradition of excellence in leadership of my predecessors,” said Hampton.

Hampton’s TMA involvement includes leadership roles at the local, regional, and global levels of the organization. At his local chapter, TMA Philadelphia/Wilmington, he served in several leadership roles, including vice president of programming, eventually rising to chapter president. At the regional level, Hampton is very involved with the planning and ongoing development of the TMA Mid-Atlantic Regional Symposium, where he served as co-chair for several years, and continues to serve as a senior advisor to the Symposium. At the TMA Global level, his roles have included vice president of conferences, vice president of chapter relations, corporate secretary, and most recently, co-chair of the TMA Hall of Fame selection committee. He was also the recipient of the TMA Global Outstanding Volunteer Contributor Award in 2015.

Hampton serves as chair of the bankruptcy and restructuring practice at Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP. He focuses his practice on restructuring matters, including Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, out-of-court workouts, loan restructurings, corporate reorganizations, and general insolvency law.
