Wells Fargo appointed industry veteran Patricia Sutter head of Wells Fargo Corporate Trust Services, effective October 15. Sutter will remain based in Chicago and report to David Marks, head of Wells Fargo Commercial Capital (WFCC).

She replaces Troy Kilpatrick, who has led CTS since 2014 and is moving into a new leadership role supporting Wells Fargo’s risk transformation work.

“Wells Fargo is a leading provider of trust and agency services related to debt and equity securities, and we will continue to deliver the highest caliber of service to Corporate Trust clients under Patricia’s leadership,” said Marks. “Patricia has extraordinary knowledge of the business and our clients, and she will be a valued addition to the WFCC leadership team.”

Sutter will lead a team of about 2,000 team members in her new role. She is a nearly 31-year industry veteran who joined Wells Fargo 15 years ago to lead the CTS Chicago office. She has since held various leadership roles within CTS, most recently leading CTS’s Conventional Debt & Specialized Services team.
