Crestmark appointed Charles D. Starck vice president and business development officer of the commercial business credit group.

Based in Milwaukee, Starck will target businesses in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and the Chicagoland area. He will report to James (Jim) Farrell, senior vice president and commercial business credit sales manager for Crestmark.

Starck has more than 15 years of commercial finance experience. He most recently served as managing director of commercial banking for Hiawatha National Bank. Along with leading new business development, he also led the opening of a loan production office, creating synergies between the bank and the finance company being purchased. Starck also served at Old National Bank, where he was vice president and corporate banking relationship manager, and at US Bank, where he served as vice president and business banking sales manager.

“Charles is a great addition to our team. He is a dynamic financial services professional with strong skills in business development, relationship banking, financial analysis, strategic thinking and market building,” Farrell said. “We welcome him and look forward to his contributions.”
