SLR Credit Solutions promoted Josh Franklin to group CFO for the special lending verticals and Mirko Andric and Rebecca Tarby to senior managing directors and co-heads of underwriting and portfolio management. The company also hired Jack Murphy as assistant vice president of underwriting and portfolio management and Joe Wells as managing director of business development.
Franklin joined SLR Credit Solutions in 2006 as an underwriter and progressed to team leader. He then assumed the role of CFO and COO in 2012 and became responsible for all activities related to finance, forecasting, leverage line(s), compliance, IT and human resources. He is also a member of the firm’s investment committee. Franklin’s role will now expand to include SLR Capital Partners’ other specialty finance verticals, including SLR Business Credit, SLR Equipment Finance and SLR Healthcare ABL. Prior to joining SLR Credit Solutions, Franklin held various roles in lending and private equity at Citizens Bank. He is a CPA and CFA charter holder.
Andric began his career at SLR Credit Solutions in 2011 and is a member of the firm’s investment team. In his new role, Andric will continues his responsibilities in structuring, underwriting and managing new and existing investments, in addition to co-managing the firm’s investment professionals. Mirko’s previous work experience includes similar credit roles at RBS Citizens, Freeport Financial, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and Banca di Roma.
During Tarby’s 16 years at SLR Credit Solutions, she has executed many secured debt transactions across a variety of industries and for various purposes, including growth, reorganizations and other special situations. Tarby is now joining the firm’s investment committee and will continue her responsibilities in structuring, underwriting and managing new and existing investments, as well as co-managing the firm’s investment professionals. Prior to joining SLR Credit Solutions, Tarby held various roles in corporate lending and mergers and acquisitions advisory for Fleet Bank, Comerica Bank and Grant Thornton.
Murphy will play a role in working with deal teams to underwrite and manage new investments as well as to undertake portfolio management for existing investments. Prior to joining SLR Credit Solutions, he held positions in the asset-based and healthcare corporate lending groups at Wells Fargo Commercial Capital and Santander Bank.
Wells joined SLR Credit Solutions to source, originate and structure new secured debt financings focused on the Midwest and Florida. He has 16 years of experience in both the asset-based and recurring revenue software corporate lending markets from his career at Wells Fargo Capital Finance in both credit and business development.
