Simpson Thacher announced it is representing Jostens in connection with the company’s acquisition of American Achievement Group Holding Corp.

American Achievement, with offices in Austin, TX and Dallas, is a provider of commemorative jewelry and recognition products, such as class rings, yearbooks, letter jackets and other jewelry, including military and family products.

Minneapolis-based Jostens, a wholly owned subsidiary of Visant Corp., creates school yearbooks and other memory book products, class rings, and products for graduation and athletic champions and fans.
