Northleaf Capital Partners appointed Sarah Silverman as managing director, business development. In this new role, Silverman will lead Northleaf’s business development and investor relations activities from the firm’s New York office, further developing relationships with institutional investors, consultants and advisors in the United States.

Prior to joining Northleaf, Silverman was managing director, head of U.S. alternatives within global consultant relations at BlackRock where she led the coverage of relationships with alternatives consultants in the U.S. and was responsible for generating new business across the platform. Previously, Silverman was head of investor relations and business development at Kingdon Capital Management where she led a team responsible for global marketing and client relationship management. Silverman began her career at Goldman Sachs in fundraising and investor relations for the hedge fund of funds business.
