Siena Lending Group added Mark Orlando to lead its Los Angeles-based offices as director-Western Region manager.

With more than 25 years of experience in the finance and asset-based lending industry and having completed more than $1 billion in transactions, Orlando is well qualified to expand Siena’s footprint in the Western U.S.

Formerly with Ares Commercial Finance and Ares’ predecessor, First Capital, as principal and senior vice president for the last six years, Orlando was responsible for originating and closing new lending opportunities to grow their market in the West.

Previously, he served in senior business development, credit and management roles for Rabobank, U.S. Bank and LaSalle Bank (now part of Bank of America), as well as founding his own firm, Arrowhead Capital, where he served as managing director.

“We are very pleased to add Mark to the Siena team as we continue to expand our lending capabilities,” said David Grende, president and CEO of Siena Lending Group. “Mark is a respected industry veteran with a broad reach that will propel our growth in the Western United States.”

“I’m excited to join Siena,” Orlando said. “Given my background and skill set partnered with Siena’s creative and flexible lending approach, I am confident that Siena’s expansion in the West will be successful.”
