SBALoansToday.com said it named Todd Overley as chief operating officer. Overley has 19 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, during which he specifically focused on SBA lending. He has an extensive credit and sales background and has successfully led large teams at several well-known banking institutions, including U.S. Bank and The CIT Group. In his new role, Overley is responsible for overseeing the credit and sales operations and building relationships with the company’s Certified SBABizBanks Lenders.

Overley entered the industry as an SBA underwriter at The Money Store, which was the largest SBA lender at that time, and moved on to start an SBA franchise lending group at Heller Financial. He moved up to work with other industry leaders including The CIT Group, U.S. Bank and Evolve Bank & Trust. During his career at The CIT Group, Overley spent seven years leading the credit organization for the western U.S., and another nearly seven years overseeing sales for that same region, producing over $500 million in annual sales.

“Todd brings deep knowledge and expertise in SBA lending, and an impressive track record in building and managing high volume national platforms,” commented Bill Clanton, founder and president of SBALoansToday.com. “He’s working to grow SBALoansToday.com to become a leader in our space by making an immediate impact to our business and providing expertise to our entire national network of national Certified SBABizBanks Lenders.”
