Rosenthal Trade Capital, a division of Rosenthal & Rosenthal, completed a recent purchase order finance deal with a major New York-based investor and operator in the consumer products industry, specifically in the health, beauty and wellness categories.

As part of the transaction, RTC will provide a $4 million production finance facility to assist with the component procurement, assembly and packaging of branded beauty and cosmetic products to fulfill a major order from a large retailer. The supply chain financing requirements of this transaction involved the purchase of multiple components from several international and domestic suppliers, including the fulfillment services, as well as all logistics costs.

Rosenthal will provide a combination of letters of credit and cash funding for the transaction.

The company was seeking an alternative financing resource to complement the existing factoring solutions already in place. By adding a work in process purchase order financing program, Rosenthal was able to help the client fulfill the existing large sales program as well as create a platform for future growth.

“By structuring innovative funding solutions like this one to solve complex supply chain financing issues, we can help companies resolve cash flow problems caused by incremental growth opportunities and also address the logistical challenges associated with these types of transactions,” said RTC Division Head Paul Schuldiner.
