Riveron Consulting announced the launch of its Atlanta office with a lease signing and appointment of Tom McGurk as director of business development. McGurk will jump-start Riveron’s presence in Atlanta, enabling the firm to build a full-complement team in the market. The firm anticipates adding more Atlanta-based personnel by year-end, and will support McGurk’s efforts through market visits by team members across all current offices.

McGurk comes from Visual Risk IQ, LLC, where he served as VP of sales and marketing for the internal audit services firm focused on technological approaches to solving client issues. He also served as VP and managing director at Titus, where he helped grow the company’s Atlanta office significantly over the course of his tenure. Other relevant career experience includes leadership roles at Accretive Solutions and Jefferson Wells International. In addition, he has 10 years of sales experience at AT&T and Bank of America.

McGurk is an entrepreneurial professional with 25 years of experience in creating and sustaining high-value relationships, implementing highly effective sales strategies, and starting and managing fast-growing business units. His successful experience includes selling services to Fortune 500/1000 firms, hiring and training salespeople, implementing dashboards and sales compensation systems, overseeing delivery of services, and management of dynamic teams.
