Business development veteran Tony Cord joined Riveron Consulting’s Washington DC office as its newest director of business development. In this role he will be focusing his efforts on building strategic and corporate client relationships in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Cord joins Riveron with more than 20 years of progressive business development, acquisition, advisory, management and operating experience. Most recently he served as director for Navigant Consulting, where he rebuilt a business development platform with internal clients in the DC market.

Prior to that, Cord was with accounting firm Clifton Gunderson as regional managing director of growth services. Additionally, Cord has served as regional business development director for BDO Seidman and VP of Mergers and Acquisitions within American Express’s Tax and Business Services.
