Riveron Consulting announced Leigh Ann Schultz has joined the firm’s new Washington D.C./Virginia office as managing director.

Schultz joined Riveron from the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) division of Corporation Finance. Prior to the SEC, she was a consultant at AlixPartners, and other relevant career experience includes time at Dobson Communications, Logix Communications, TXU Communications and Ernst & Young. Industry experience includes telecommunications, manufacturing, heavy equipment, solar and wind energy, semiconductor, aerospace and defense, retail, software, consumer goods, oil and gas, healthcare and for-profit education.

With nearly 20 years of experience through her public accounting, industry, consulting and regulatory career, Schultz’s specialties include forensic investigations, litigation support, turnaround and bankruptcy advising, mergers and acquisitions, business process improvement and SEC advising.

Schultz earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University, and she is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Valuation Analyst, Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor.
