SierraConstellation Partners has hired Robert O. “Bob” Riiska as managing director. Riiska will be based at the firm’s Los Angeles headquarters.

“There are few turnaround professionals more experienced and trustworthy than Bob Riiska when it comes to stepping in at the C-level and turning businesses around,” said SCP Founder and CEO Larry Perkins. “I’m delighted to have Bob on our team to help us strengthen our west coast presence and accelerate our expansion across the country.”

Riiska has nearly three decades of turnaround and crisis management experience, including performing numerous consulting assignments and serving in interim senior management capacities. Before joining SCP, Riiska was a senior managing director and head of the Western U.S. Practice for a national turnaround and restructuring consulting firm.
Riiska spent 13 years at the firm, where he led high-profile assignments including serving as chief restructuring officer (CRO) of a $900 million publicly-traded staffing company; CRO of a prestige cosmetics company; and financial advisor to a $1.4 billion manufacturer of recreational vehicles.

Earlier in his career, Riiska led financial and operational consulting projects for a leading management consulting firm and served as Chief Financial Officer of a publicly traded IT professional services provider and software developer. He began his career as an accountant and consultant at a leading global accounting firm.
