Reuters reported that John Hogan, who was named chief risk officer at JPMorgan Chase as its London Whale trades began losing billions of dollars of losses, may leave the company, citing a memo to employees from CEO Jamie Dimon.

According to Reuters, Hogan will hold a new title of chairman of risk after returning to work from a leave of absence that started in January. Ashley Bacon, Hogan’s deputy, will become chief risk officer.
