According to a Houston Chronicle report, oil sector bankruptcies have fallen to a two-year low as crude oil prices rise.

The Chronicle noted that the price increase has benefited many companies’ profits since OPEC’s announcement to cut production.

Analysts predict bankruptcy filings in the oil and gas industry will continue to decline in 2017, according to the Chronicle.
