Provident Bank, a subsidiary of Provident New York Bancorp, announced it hired Lorenzo Damiano to join its newest Commercial Banking team in New Jersey led by Peter Dawson. This team operates out of the Paramus office under the PBNY Bank (a division of Provident Bank, New York). Lorenzo joins the firm as managing director and will be responsible for building and cultivating middle-market commercial relationships.

Damiano has over 20 years in financial services and most recently served as a business banking client manager for Bank of America where he was responsible for building and developing business banking relationships. Prior to Bank of America, Lorenzo operated a financial services advisory business where he helped clients with a variety of financial services solutions. “We are pleased to have Lorenzo Damiano join us and be a part of our rapidly expanding Commercial Banking presence in New Jersey,” said Jim Peoples, Central Market president for Provident Bank.
