Marotta Gund Budd & Dzera (MGBD) announced Lyle Potash has joined the firm as a director in its New York office. Potash has provided professional financial and consulting services to corporations of all sizes, both public and private for more than 16 years. During the time, he has specialized on advising financially distressed companies with corporate turnarounds, business reorganizations and troubled debt restructurings.

Previously, he was vice president of finance for a multi-billion-dollar financial services company involved in the leasing of high-tech equipment, aircraft and commercial real estate. Additionally, Potash was a director at Zolfo Cooper.

Potash’s turnaround management experience includes both in and out-of-court restructurings in various industries including financial services, manufacturing, retail, distribution and agriculture. At MGBD, he will continue to focus on advising and assisting financially distressed companies with evaluating and developing strategic business plans, financial modeling, financial reporting, building and reorganizing corporate teams, performing due diligence, creditor claim analysis, and preparing valuation and liquidation analyses.
