Phoenix Management Services, a provider of sustainable, operationally focused solutions for middle-market companies in transition, announced the appointment of Martha E.M. “Marti” Kopacz as a senior managing director in its Boston, MA office.

Kopacz has more than 25 years of experience assisting stakeholders in analyzing business operations. She has led or participated in over 100 advisory and restructuring engagements. Prior to joining Phoenix, she founded Brant Point Advisors. Kopacz also co-founded and co-led the U.S. restructuring practice at Grant Thornton. Earlier in her career she was a principal with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

In her new role, Kopacz will advise companies, investors, lenders and other stakeholders in several industries, including retail, technology, business services, public sector and not for profit. She will also serve in crisis and interim management roles and provide strategic and transaction advisory services.
