Jonathan H. Ashtor, Rachael G. Coffey, Alexia D. Korberg, Caith Kushner, Kyle T. Seifried, Brette Tannenbaum and Austin Witt have been elected to the Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison partnership.

All are based in the New York office.

  • Ashtor will become a partner in the corporate department, where he focuses on intellectual property and technology matters. Jonathan advises clients on M&A and financing transactions primarily in the technology sector, all forms of IP licensing and dispositions of patent portfolios.
  • Coffey will become a partner in the corporate department, where she focuses on mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and general corporate matters.
  • Korberg will become a partner in the litigation department. She represents clients in high-stakes commercial disputes across a range of industries, and is experienced in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels.
  • Kushner will become a partner in the corporate department, where he focuses on finance transactions, including secured borrowings, high-yield debt issuances, bridge financings and real estate loans.
  • Seifried will become a partner in the corporate department, where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions. Kyle also regularly advises clients on activist defense, corporate governance and compliance matters, reporting obligations and takeover preparedness.
  • Tannenbaum will become a partner in the litigation department. She represents clients in complex civil litigation, including antitrust, securities, employment litigation and other commercial disputes.
  • Witt will become a partner in the corporate department, where he focuses on finance transactions, with particular experience in restructuring. Austin represents sponsors, direct lenders and major corporations in a wide range of high yield and investment grade transactions, and has experience in cross-border financings.
