Leslie A. Berkoff, a partner of Moritt Hock & Hamroff, has been appointed to serve as co-chair of the International Women’s Insolvency Restructuring Confederation’s (IWIRC) Advisory Council.

The Advisory Council’s mission is to increase the visibility and connections of IWIRC in the insolvency community. The council will be comprised of industry leaders, nationally and/or internationally, whose names and reputations will strengthen and foster IWIRC’s mentoring and networking presence.

IWIRC is an international professional association that works to enhance the professional status and reputation of women in insolvency practice. IWIRC provides opportunities for networking, professional development, leadership and mentoring on local and international levels. IWIRC’s goals are pursued through a simple but effective principle: to create an organization of international scope that offers leadership and professional advancement opportunities.

Berkoff is a partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff where she also serves as chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy practice group. She concentrates her practice in the area of bankruptcy and restructuring litigation and corporate workouts, and she represents a variety of corporate debtors, trustees, creditors and creditor committees both nationally and locally.
