Matrix Capital Markets expanded its Downstream Energy & Retail and Healthcare groups with the promotion of Sean Dooley and Christian Klawunder to vice president and associate, respectively.

Sean Dooley, CFA, a member of Matrix’s Downstream Energy & Retail Group has been promoted to vice president. Since joining the firm in 2010, Dooley has been involved in more than 20 successful transactions. He is a holder of the chartered financial analyst designation and member of the CFA Institute.

Christian Klawunder has been a member of Matrix’s Downstream Energy & Retail Group since joining the firm in 2014 and has been promoted to associate. Klawunder was previously an analyst with Ewing Bemiss.

In addition, Matrix’s Downstream Energy & Retail Group and Healthcare Group have added new team members.

Carlton Zesch, analyst, who has been with Matrix since 2015 and has proven to be a valuable resource to multiple industry verticals within the firm, has joined Matrix’s Downstream Energy & Retail Group.

John Ellison, CFA, associate, has become a member of Matrix’s Healthcare Group. Prior to joining Matrix in 2015, Ellison was an Associate with Ewing Bemiss and an equity research associate in the Engineering & Construction and Energy Infrastructure group with BB&T Capital Markets.
