Marquette Transportation Finance and its Marquette Commercial Finance division promoted David McFarland to president and chief credit officer. Benjamin Doran was also promoted to senior vice president, director of sales.

In his new role, McFarland will assist with the overall management of Marquette, as well as leading organizational strategic planning. He will continue to manage all operations within Marquette’s credit department. McFarland joined Marquette in 2005 and has more than 20 years of financial experience including commercial banking, asset-based lending and factoring.

As the director of sales, Doran has management responsibility for the sales team while also continuing to focus on new business development. Doran joined Marquette in 2012 and has more than 16 years of experience in finance and business development. He will report to DiAne Reed, executive vice president and director of national sales for Marquette.
