According to a report from Thomspon Reuters LPC, U.S. middle market lending is expected to grow in the second half of 2016.

“Bankers and private equity sponsors are starting to see a pick-up in the number and quality of deals in the pipeline,” said Jeremy Swan, principal at accounting, tax and advisory firm CohnReznick in a Reuters report.

Reuters reported that due to its domestic focus, the U.S. middle market is expected to be largely unaffected by the international financial turmoil caused by the Brexit.
